About the University

广州新华学院（原中山大学新华学院）成立于2005年5月，由中山大学与广东东宝集团有限公司合作创办。2021年2月，经教育部批准转设为独立设置的普通本科院校，更名为“广州新华学院”。2021年学校获批广东省硕士学位授予立项建设单位、广东省博士工作站单位，2022年获批国家自然科学基金依托单位，2025年一次性顺利通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估。学校位于粤港澳大湾
